RES|Success is an incredible Martinez based nonprofit whose mission is “To provide dignified and respectful day program services to adults with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, with attention to the very individualized needs of each of our clients.” The program is near and dear to my family’s heart as one of our very beloved family members attends their day programs. We have seen her thrive while at RES|Success. RES stands for Residental & Educational Services, and by our family’s account, it stands for independence!
With several locations RES|Success has a wide impact throughout the Bay Area. Founded by Ian Bremner, the programs are goal oriented and mission based focusing on community involvement; all while instilling independence and self-confidence in its participants. Just today I walked into their Martinez, Ferry Street location and instantly felt pure joy as I entered. The participants were all engaged in fun and enriching activities; the staff was incredibly courteous; the room itself was colorful & light-filled and the overall feel of the location was that of delight.
In 2010, Ian was awarded the prestigious Jefferson Award; an award given out locally and nationally to individuals who go above & beyond to serve the public and improve the lives of those around them. Our family is incredibly grateful for Ian and the incredible staff at RES|Success!
