September is Hunger Action Month – A month where people all over America stand together with Feeding America and the nationwide network of food banks to fight hunger. It’s a month to spread the word and take action on the hunger crisis, and dedicate ourselves to a solution. I am dedicating myself as part of the solution in our neighborhood by hosting a food drive.
Join me on Saturday, September 28th for a fun, neighborhood food drive! Bring your donations and join the rest of the neighborhood for a “gathering of the brown bags”, as we tally up the donations. I will be serving coffee, hot chocolate and pastries as a token of appreciation. We will be under a large canopy and plan to host rain or shine.
