This week, a friend of mine reminded me to celebrate the small wins and it really resonated with me. I’ve been running 10-12 hour workdays recently, and have had several small wins that I’ve forgotten to acknowledge, such as; filing a final contingency removal days ahead of schedule, getting a home ready to go to the market, purchasing a new car, and carving out time to connect with local business owners. It’s so easy to get swept up in the bigger picture, that we forget to stop and give gratitude to these big and small blessings.
I was able to slow down enough to realize the new Italian restaurant in downtown Martinez (Papi’s) is opening up their doors on my birthday, this coming week! YAY! Seeing new business come into Martinez is a huge win, that I can’t wait to celebrate! I’ll be sure to post a pic from our excursion to Papi’s next week.
